CZARTORYSKI MUSEUM

We are delighted to have been commissioned to redesign the Czartoryski Museum in Krakow as part of an ambitious program to reconfigure and refurbish the entire museum. The oldest Public museum in Poland is testimony to the determination of Princess Izabela Czartoryska, who in 1796 decided to erect a national museum dedicated to preserving the memory of Poland's past and place in history.

The current building was not the first home of the collection, which was constructed in the family estate at Pulawy. Now, located in historic Krakow, the Princess's Palace has been the residence of the collection since 1878. It houses such masterpieces as Leonardo da Vinci 's "Lady with an Ermine". BASILICA OF ST CHAD

The Archdioceses of Birmingham has appointed CMA for the St Chad's Cathedral Crypt Heritage Visitor Centre. As one of the finest neo-gothic church buildings in England, built to the design of Augustus Welby Pugin, St Chad's Cathedral was and opened in 1841.

A fund raising campaign has now commenced for major renovations to the fabric of the building as well as the crypt. The project aims to display and interpret the heritage and patrimony of the Catholic Church in the Archdiocese and St Chad's, and will provide appropriate educational facilities for children and adults, especially those students from primary and secondary schools. McGRAW-HILL

During the past two years we have been heavily involved with the art programme of a client's European headquarters at Canary Wharf. Working in cooperation with McGraw-Hill's staff and art consultant we have been instrumental in the design layout and installation process throughout.

The new offices feature many contemporary internationally recognised artists - a collection of works that would satisfy a modern gallery most handsomely. We have also recently completed the design of a catalogue based on sixty of the artists from McGraw-Hill's London collection.
